Hi, I would like to dye my hair (it is med brown at the mo) and do not want any roots coming thorugh after several washes, does anyone know what I can use? i am going to boots in a few hours time but have got no idea what to look for! I;ve got my friends wedding next week so am a bit nervous to even know what colour to get, i would like to cover up some grey hairs (at 26 years old)?! and have a change, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I get a semi-perm color at salon. It is sometimes sold as a "glaze" and it gently fades, so no root lines. Be careful doing it at home. It can be even more costly to fix a a botched home job than if it had just been done at salon in first place. I am in NY and the prosuct my girl uses is by Redken-shades. She mixes it so I don't know about a colour name.
