Can anyone suggest why I'm not getting any sound on BBC IPlayer?

I've just gone on to BBC IPlayer and have no sound on any programmes I've tried - I've checked that my sound is on on my laptop, and can see no reason why it's not working.
Any (sensible) ideas please?

Just to let you know that i've just tried it on Firefox, Chrome and IE7, and it's ok for me.

Thanks for doing that, bibblebub - I've just tried it on Firefox and nothing coming through either, so I guess it must be my laptop. Thanks for your help.

Have you got a prog/app open that is hogging the sound? Skype perhaps?

Thanks for your answers - I shut everything down, left it for twenty minutes, started up again and the sound was back on! Don't know why, but will try and remember to do that again if there is a next time.
