I have IE 8 and I have the problems that tearing hair has. Any suggestions?

Tried ctrl-f5?

Apart from that I can't offer you anything for the moment - the techies are likely to fix it in the next upgrade.

Let me know if the crtl-f5 works!

I don't think the browser can be the issue in isolation. I use IE8 and have none of these problems.
Do you use a laptop or phone?
Maybe you need to change screen settings/ view (zoom) or text size.
I find control/F5 isn't always enough. Try logging out then clearing the cache completely (tools, internet options, delete, delete...) before logging back in.
