iTunes won't apply album art...
6 Answers
I have one album where iTunes won't apply the album art. Under 'get info' (I'm on a Mac) I can 'add' the album art (I've tried both a .jpg or .png file), can see it previewed in the white panel but when I close the window and look at the album in iTunes coverflow the panel where the art should be seen is empty.
I've looked at the info of the individual .mp3 files: the files are not 'locked' and I can 'read & write' under permissions.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Another method that might work for you is to click the Show Artwork icon (bottom left of the itunes window, the triangular icon), this will open a small artwork window bottom left of the main window, select all the tracks in your album, drag your artwork into the small window.

Thanks Milvus, I tried that, still no joy. There was also something odd about the track/album titles: when I renamed them in iTunes, they continually reverted back to what was there originally when I closed and repopened the application. Anyway, I've sorted it: I ran all the .mp3s through FLV Crunch, making duplicate .mp3 files which seems to have got rid of all the problems...
