in the film the prisoner from azkhaban harry and friends used a one word spell to stop things from being scary ,a spider came at them and harry said ******** and the scary spider had a funny comic head and they all started giggling .what was the word? it was incredible or incredulous or a similar sounding word

Its how to get rid of a boggart. It will turn into the thing that scares you most, so you have to imagine how that thing will look silly and say 'riddikulous'(sp) and it will change into that. Get several people to do this, which confuses the boggart and it vanishes.
