I've have PAYG with 3 mobile broadband. Works great for long stretches, then can have problems for weeks. They're really pleasant if I call but usually say it's a problem my end, but I've just had 2 months no probs at all and nothing's changed. But last couple of days keep losing connection or not able to access at all. Does anybody else have similar probs? I'm in London. For obvious reasons, if you reply, I may not see it for a while. Sending this quickly now while I have connection.

I do sometimes have that same problem in the evenings down here in Dorset but the signal comes back later on or by the next morning.

It's annoying isn't it? I do sort of understand, but once it starts to happen here, it goes on for up to a week, and then after a couple of days, goes on for another week (it's happened a good number of times).
An old story I'm afraid .. wouldn't touch 3G because of this problem.
3 mobile broadband notorious for 'quality of connection' being poor. If you decide to change top marks go to BT and Virgin mobile for reliable connections.

Thanks folks. Gave up last night! On the whole I have found 3 to be excellent, but we go through these periods that, once something goes wrong, it seems to go on for ages. I find their Helpline good to talk to (language barriers overcome by patience and politeness), they follow up complaints, etc. Anyway, don't have and don't want a contract for this reason, so think I'll investigate another supplier.
