kept refrigerated and reheated thoroughly should be fine....or freeze it on the day you make it
yes, defo. keep it in the fridge or freeze it in portions.
rowan, snap :)
yep - as long as your freezer okay, no probs
Absolutely. On weeks when I am on my own I often make a big pot of something at the weekend and eat it all through the following week. It lives in the fridge in person-sized portions.

Did think about freezing, but hardly seems time to freeze and unfreeze. Thought it should be ok, but thanks for answering. I have some non-veggie visitors!
when i used to work 7 or 8 nights in a row, i used to make a chiil on the sunday, then eat it till the following sunday
Bednobs, I think you and I might have flatshared at some time (or do you live in my fridge?)
Haven't had shepherds pie for Yonks! I know now what to cook for tea tomorrow evening. (my tea is perhaps someones dinner 6o/c) ThanQ

jem
jem, instead of mashed potato on the top, try mashed broc and cauli mixed with some grated cheese. it's really tasty and all adds to your 5-a-day.
ethandron, What a brilliant idea i love broc & cauli. But its got to be mash, my H wouldn't eat it otherwise, he's v/ traditional. But I may do a small one for myself. thanQ
