it started last night and I have been drinking a lot of water today.. But now when I go to the loo I am bleeding. All the chemists are closed. Would anyone know if they sell the treatment sachets in a supermarket now as they are open. Many thanks

I've bought the powders from my local Tesco before now.

Also, probably preaching to the converted here, if you like cranberry juice, then drink it freely. My doctor recommends it and has read several pieces of medical research that prove it to be effective. Not a substitute for medication, but it may help.

saxy jag, my husband got me some treatment last night from asda and cranberry juice. But doctor said it was no use as I was bleeding so much and needed an antibiotic.But thankyou anyway.x
mamyalynne, thankyou. I do not feel like doing much today so havnet done much at all. Keep getting headache so what with tablets for that and the antibiotics something must be working.! haha.! Its our 39th wedding anniversary today and I had the same thing on the day before and wedding day.all those years ago. xx
