Well IMO you should be able to feel (but not see) his spine and ribs. Do you worm him regularly? If he is happy, healthy and active and you are giving him good quality grub and enough of it as suggested on the pack then I wouldn't worry....he's probably at a gangly stage.
9 months is no age for a breed like a husky. He's still quite a juvenile. He'll fill out as he gets older. Just keep him wormed regularly and feed him appropriately for his age and weight, according to the food maker's directions, and he'll be fine. It's a mistake to think he, or any dog, should be carrying so much weight that you can't feel his ribs or spine.
As the two previous posts say it's early days yet, up to about the age of two both my GSD's grew to their full hight but seemed all skin and bone then they suddenly seemed to fill out into, though I do say it my self, fine specimens of the breed
Probably right for his age, but for putting on weight tripe or breast of lamb is good.
Feed hin pizza, KFC and takeaway curries

It works for most humans

I made 'satin balls' for my lurcher when I got her 7 weeks ago......she loved them, and did put some weight on. I adapted the recipe-did't bother with the Total cereal. Some recipes use Philly also.
