Restrictions in hand luggage

Is it OK to take a DVD recorder to Spanish territory by plane in my hand luggage or should it be packed in the hold?

Have you seen how they handle the suitcases?  If I were you, I'd try to pack it carefully small enough to carry it as hand baggage in order to protect it from damage.

I assume that you mean a DVD recorder and not a portable DVD player.

I've though about this again.  Maybe you would have problems at Security Control if you presented the X-ray machine with a DVD recorder!

Perhaps you should contact the airline to see what they suggest.
