has anyone cooked pasta in a microwave?
i have been told you can get special dishes for this has anyoine got or tried them?

Why would you need special dishes,i personally dont do this,but can understand that this is feasible...
I always cook pasta in the microwave, it save on nasty saucepans.I use either a large plastic bowl or a pyrex bowl. I also cook rice and most of my veggies this way, veggies are better this way as you use only a little water so do not boil away the goodness
I steam my veg,but at work microwave frozen veg...

Personally, I'm still not convinced. My pasta seems to cook perfectly well in a saucepan ;-)

Hi chris,not a fan of cooking pasta or rice in the microwave...
I have microwaved pasta and also poured boiling water over pasta in a jug. That worked a treat. Keep it simple
