mint custard!

When i was at school, our fave pudding ever!! was green mint custard and chocolate sponge pudding!! (no really!!) can someone out there please tell me where i can get hold of mint custard?? or how i can make it?

"hi i was a school cook for 20 years the way we made the mint custard was cornflour @sugar mixed with milk to a paste then pour into boiled milkand stirred to thicken we then added peppermint flavouring to taste you then use green food colouring to colour. Icannot remember the exact quantities you will have to play about with it"

i have finally found the answer to the mint custard recipe.
you will need:
1 sachet of birds normal custard (around 75g)
peppermint essence
green food colouring
To prepare:
empty the contents of the sachet into a jug and fill up to the 3/4 pint level and stir until it looks like normal custard.Then add a capful of peppermint essence and a capful of green colouring and wahllah go get your chocolate cake and its beautiful .. i am eating it right now. very nice lol
