Camera On Phone

Whenever i try to get onto the camera on my phone it says 'Please wait..' then after about 2 minutes it says 'Check camera connection!' and goes back to the menu.
How can i get my camera back?!

its a samsung u600
im also having a problem with the sound. my key volume is mute but this shouldnt make a difference. when i answer a call the caller can hear me but i cant hear them at all. and when i play music on my phone it sometimes only plays when the slide is down or sometimes i have to slide it up and down a couple of times for it to work.

the camera isn't in 'connect' mode is it?

Maybe a problem with the slide Sophie? I had one and it seemed to lose connections to various bits and pieces in the phone - like you say, sliding it up and down seemed to work sometimes.

im not sure, how do i know if its in connect mode?! what is that?

just realised that on the screensaver of my phone it has a 'P' in a box, looked it up in the users guide and it's not even there.. hmmm!

Try going into your settings and see if you can find anything in there for your camera. I'm pretty sure it was a loose wire or something on mine - it used to cut out in the middle of calls or switch off and back on again when the slide was open.
