Can anyone explain to me why poodicat gets suspended on a regular basis and then gets reinstated, This happens on a regular basis. I have no quarrel with poodi. My mate was suspended in May. I don't know why. Neither does he. He still has not been reinstated. So what has poodi got thst my mate hasn't?

As Eddie suggests, a suspended member can still contact the Ed via the link at the bottom of each page. (I write from experience. I once spent hours drafting a detailed lesson plan for someone who was going to be teaching a group of kids for the first time in his life. I submitted it as a multi-part post and got suspended for over-posting!)

My theory is that when the Ed is not in the office the system is set to auto suspend following maybe one, maybe several reports. I think one of poodis comments may have been reported and auto suspended. The night she and welsh were suspended they had not typed anything worthy of suspension as it was merely bickering. Of course if someone reports them they would then be suspended and once the Ed got into the office the next day and reviewed it , reinstated them.

My concern is that users may abuse this system and start maliciously reporting people they are arguing with in order to suspend them for the evening. Of course if the Ed looks at the reporters he could suspend them for abusing the report button function.
