off to a bbq

could be a rather damp do i think as it's been raining all day. the sun's just come out though so hopefully it'll stay out now. it's being held in the middle of a field so not much shelter around, wellies are the order of the day, and waterproofs. looking forward to it though as they're a nice bunch of people and to be honest, once a few glasses of wine have been poured down my neck i won't care if it's raining or not.

Fabulous here too poodi - I watered the garden last night, thinking it might tempt the rain, but it's been lovely here all day.
I'm going nowhere - except perhaps next door - it's been a hell of a week and I just need an early night.

Playing badminton for one of the last times in a long time - the sports centre is being closed for refurbishment and construction of different rooms, for nearly a year.
