Hi

I heard the grant from the government ceases on 01 Jan 2011 and you are eligible for it if you are 25 weeks pregnant at 31 Dec 2010.
My last period was 14 July. If I count to 31 Dec then I'm just over 24 weeks. However, don't the Dr's go from 2 weeks before your last period? If so, that would take me to over 25 weeks at 31 Dec and therefore I should be eligible for it??

Thanks
Deb

hi deb, the best way for you to get an answer to this is to get your pregnancy confirmed and be given an estimated due date. best of luck
the midwife and your notes start on the first day of your last period.

your dating scan will only change this date if it varies by a week or more
Basically....the day you miss your period and have a positive result you are classed as 4 weeks pregnant.
