Unknown Bank Account

My grandad died several years ago and in his wallet was a slip of paper with a bank account number on and an amount. My family was sure it was a secret account but on writing to all the big name banks not one came back positively.

Is there anything else we can try??

Your own bank will have a leaflet issued by the British Bankers Association which will help you. You can also read more here;

Hi try the website of the Buiding Society Association @ www.bsa.org.uk thery have a section for lost accounts where you can download forms and gives advice etc.
