Jasmine....
Hi...It's me again....Last year we bought a Jasmine as a house plant. The label said to place it outdoors in the summer to induce new flowers. It grew to three feet tall so I planted in the garden. Now i've been told it will not survive the winter. What do you suggest. It is curling beautifully round a trellis!

Sometimes it depends where you lives as to how things survive. We bought a kiwi liast summer (very cheap) and it is supposed to be in a conservatory over the winter, but we don't have one - so we wrapped it in bubblewrap, it survived (to our surprise) and is about 8ft high now. We will have to bubble the bottom of the plant this coming winter, and hope for the best!

Boxtops......I've had a kiwi on a south facing wall for three years. it's really doing well..Each year the fruit are getting bigger. this year they are plum-sized. I prune it back each year after fruiting.that's all I do and it's going mad with two or three hundred edible fruit. Each week now I feed it with a full gallon of tomato fertiliser (Nitrogen) Good luck....
