Ok so a woman can have an abortion and the man although wants to keep it at end of the day really if being honest has no choice in the womans decision. But what if the woman wanted baby and man didnt and had said get an abortion etc but yet again as womans choice she went ahead and had baby,do you think the father should still have to pay for upbringing of child?

He should not pay.........she wants the baby, for whatever reason,e.g to get a council flat........then she supports the baby.

she is just as wrong as him, she can also use emergency contraception, because she chooses not to then she has made the choice, he has no say, so why should he pay??

she wanted to have a child, unfortunately he was not aware of this when she went out to get herself pregnant, and he will now no doubt cop out for the rest of his life.

ok so i've only had a QUICK squiz through the answers ...I'm kinda thinking that the man should still pay. Regardless of whether it was a one night stand / he wanted her to have an abortion or whatever...he helped in the "baby making" process and as such IS responsible. It's hard luck (and yes some women do try "trap" men) ...hey there are condoms aren't there?! On the same note I am Anti - abortion, but Pro-choice...in other words - I'd like women to always have the \CHOICE of a legal abortion but...desperately hope that all women would choose LIFe for their baby.
