TV Problem
9 Answers
Hi all. I've got a problem on my TV tonight that I can't resolve and I'm looking for help. Basically, I've got an old analogue vcr, a sky box, a freeview box and a DVD recorder connected to my TV via scart leads. My area has had anologue tv switched off months ago, but I've left the old vcr in place as I don't use it.
I normally record a program from sky on my dvd recorder by switching on the VCR followed by the DVD recorder and selecting L2 as the tv channel on my TV. The TV screen shows my DVD recorder and I record via the DVD recorder remote control.
Tonight, when I've switched on my DVD recorder, I've got a perfectly still frame from a QVC program on the screen whereas it should be showing me the sky channel. I can playback recordings already on the recorder on the channel, but when I press record on the dvd recorder, it will only record the still. I can't understand where the still has come from. Removing the scart from the back of the freeview box gives me a blue screen on all channels.
Can someone help a girl in distress please?

1 Red & 1 White. Have a look at the front of your DVD Recorder & you should have a dropdown flap & if you look behind that you will see the appropriate sockets to plug into. Then when you wish to play the VCR alter the input on the DVD remote control & the VCR will play through the DVD Recorder. Ron.
