Canon LBP 1260 Plus and windows 7

We have an old Canon lbp 1260 plus laser printer, but can get it to work on windows 7, any one got any ideas if drivers exist, or are there any workarounds?
prev DLL files missing on XP
  
next is it possible to get acknowledgement of receipt of email in SKY?

What was the last OS that you used it on ? If you use the compatitabilty manager in Windows 7 you may get it to work. You could go to the Canon site and download a generic driver which may allow it to work.
