TalkTalk customer service is absolutely appalling, and writing to the CEO is a complete waste of time. I think there will be hundreds of people a week doing the same thing. And don't waste your time phonng them. It will drive you mad!!. I recommend going to the TalkTalk website, select Help and Support Forums (or similar). In there you will find TT staff who are very helpful and should be able to resolve this. You post a message for them and they respond to it. Have a look around first to see how it works,and then post. Keep it brief, and don't add any follow ups because they answer in rotation. Adding messages moves your request to the back of the queue. You will have to register to post a message and don't put any personal information in the message - they will ask for that privately. BTW I am nothing to do with TT. Quite the contrary, but I have used this facility with some success in the past. Good luck.
