Can anyone tell me how do they make snowballs, the ones with a mallow inner and chocolate outer with dessicated coconut sprinkles. Surley the mallow is far to soft to place on a conveyer and cover with chocolate...

Is that a guess?
Even more puzzlingly is how do they get the chocolate on malteasers? if the chocolate was poured on, surely there would be a flat edge somewhere?! I think they blow them up into the air, and then chuck a load of chocolate on, and only stop the air so that they fall down when the chocolate is dry. Seems a bit far fetched though!
lol hannahjo - I'd love to see that!!
I thought the chocolate shell was made using a hollow mould, then the "snow" was squirted in after it had set? They never show how to make them on tv...
