I don't know which version you have been watching, but the photocopier doesn't collapse. As she climbs up onto the copier to reach the shelf were the product is, she accidentally hits the copy button with her knee as she is above the class and the boss or co-worker walks in. The gag is it looks like she is copying her rear end.
