buying a house...

I'm trying to buy a house and the vendors are buying a new build. have all sorts of problems with the sale. have contacted our sellers, the new build company, our morgage advisor, solicitors, the estate agent, even the land registry. any ideas on who else can help me???? im so frustrated and sad.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.long story short, their house is finished and they want to move as much as we do, the new build company (taylor wimpey) registered the property wrong and we are waiting for them to put it right. ive phoned taylor wimpey and the land regisrty but cant get much out of them. we are first time buyers and rent at the moment, but will be homeless in about 3 weeks. i just dont know what else to do to push the sale through. the vendors also have two small children so im not sure they would want to go into temporary accomodation at all.
Then I suggest you need to work out the 'end date' that you are prepared to keep being messed around. I assume contracts are not exchanged - otherwise a proposed completion date would have been fixed.
Either they exchange in x days with a completion date of y - or you are withdrawing. Its the only 'power' you have left. Power which if forced, leaves you enough time to rent elsewhere.
Trying to pin your additional costs on Taylor-Wimpey just won't work.
