Not worth fighting over Carrust, we'll just split the profits from Ebay :)
You'll get more if they're soiled chuck...lol
I pay my cleaner £8 an hour jj if that make you feel better. £15 is a very good rate but if she's good, reliable and honest and she worth it to you then what you're paying is just fine.
I love my cleaner (and my gardener). They both get £10 an hour, the hours vary as to what needs doing......
I'll happily clean AND cook for you jj for that money...
I work for a LA - they get the mim wage here and they start at 6.30ish AM- they would jump up and down for even £8 an hour

me as well, £42 an hour on average for a cleaner, youre having a laugh.
Oh ... phew !

Well, I think she's fab. I think she usually spends the first hour watching The Jeremy Kyle Show, but you could eat off my floors, she very good at rounding up bits of sports kit that get left around the flat, and if she's finished cleaning she'll cook things for the freezer.

She's a little angel ... in a wrinkley sort of way, LOL
I dont really need a cleaner now all the kids have gone and the old man has retired but I haven't got the heart to get rid of her :o(
I think cleaners, as a profession, are too underrated.

They work really hard, they are not very well paid, and a good one is worth her weight in gold.
My cleaner makes a living but £10 an hour is not excessive. I supply all cleaning materials and I think if she uses her own she charges £12 an hour. She has to pay her own NI and special cover insurance out of that, plus she has her own little car.
I hate cleaning...but I appear to be in the wrong job ;-(
