These new passports will be issued in October, they will represent an idealised picture of pastoral Britain, complete with the images of sundials, narrow boats and windmills.to represent rural scenes from across the UK, images of urban Britain are nowhere to be seen.

I do not need to invent the locations, first the narrow boat, I could see many of these within a 10 minute drive from where I live.

And the sundials, I own two personally both of which are in my garden, and tell perfect time.

The country I live in is still called England and I am still English, even though the establishment want to erase the word from the 'ENGLISH' dictionary.

Yes from 'Lands End' to Hadrian s Wall the English enjoy most things English, Take the Brass Band, it is enjoyed on urban parks or leading the village carnival parade, the Steam Rally, along with the steam trains, is also very English, and messing about in boats, whether or not it is a canal boat, a rowing boat on the lake or a punt on the Thames.

Urban images that represent Britain? They should/may include the Notting Hill Carnival for a start. That's been going long enough to be pretty representative of a British tradition.

However, the question is based on images on passports, and you don't hae English passports, so the imagery should represent Britain, not England.
