Comper Clubs

I love entering competition, be it for crosswords or slogans, literally everything.  I'd like to join some clubs as I can't often get hold of the entry forms etc.  I don't have access to a car at the moment and this is proving to make it difficult to get the information I need.

Can you suggest anything, or offer information that could help.  It would be very much appreciated.  Incidently I live in Dorset.

I don't understand Debbie, why would you need a car to get comp details, what exactly are you looking for?

I know that supermarkets often have leaflets etc; along side products asking for tie breakers, slogans or just plain answers.  I'm having trouble getting to these supermarkets.  I know competition clubs exist, also seminars for the truly avid comper.

Hi Debbie ~ Isn't there a magazine called "Competitors' Journal" or something similar? But don't enter too many spelling competitions ~ "incidently" should be "incidentally"!

I am very keen on quizzes and sometimes find them on a website.

If you type in www.capelleferne.info and then click on What's on diary and then quizzes you can get the address to send for a number puzzle(or ditloid). It's a registered charity and ongoing every six weeks so you send for the next one when sending in your answer sheet.Closing date Sept. 23rd. 

I have found a few this way but I often feel frustrated and would like to have a go at the rest of the quizzes that answers are asked for on answerbank.  I wonder if others feel the same and any ideas?
