Hey there

I got my computer to finally get a new IP address and can see the server now.

However, The problem now is that the server won't load up properly. i.e. it gets to the screen with the large XP logo in the middle of the screen with the green bar at the bottom, but it won't get past that bit when loading up! How do i go about solving this?

could try booting up in safe mode, see if that works, from there you would know whether it was a driver issue

sry meant to put driver/software issue

another thing you can try is removing the cable, then boot, then once loaded, put cable back in, that sometimes works :)
