Hi, I have been reading all the recent threads on plantar fasciitis with interest as I have suffered this condition on and off for over a year now.
While looking for a magnetic collar for my Great Dane that has Hip Dysplasia I cam across this......

Any one think it's worth a try? The dog collars come highly recommended from other dog owners and appear to give relief from symptoms.
I'm sort of thinking that after a year of ice packs, stretches, pain killers and in soles anything is worth a go!

can you afford to lose the money if it doesn't work?

Well it's only £11 so I suppose the answer to that is yes! Well I'm going to get one and will report back in a couple of weeks on how it goes.

i sympathize with you, as i too have it. i´ve been wearing crocs when at home or for short walks. a friend told me to try using a frozen can of beer or pop, you put it under your bare foot and roll it back and forwards along the plantar, i´ve been doing this twice daily, and it seems to have eased slightly
just looked at yr magnet link. save yrself 11 quid, i tried it, didnt work for me. mind you on the other hand, who am i to tell you. its worth a go
I bought myself some doc martin air walk shoes for work and havent had it at all this summer. Normally the old walking for miles in flip flops causes it. But I have a weakness in my ankles caused by my bambi legs (knocked knees), I think the support would do you good. When I went for physio for mine last summer, as well as the insole supports I had made for me they talked at length about making my whole legs (esp ankles) stronger to ease it. Dont wear flat shoes theyre bad bad bad.
i tried wearing doc air walk some years ago, almost crippled me.
Did you wear the shoes or boots?
