what a week end?? can you explain to me why i have all the luck????

It was week – end from hell. My bathroom ceiling fell down Saturday. I could not use my shower. I worked week end, struggled to work. My sis baby name ceremony took place last week with out me!!! As I was invited by her strange in-laws now to they tell me the will be having “carry the baby “ ceremony on Thursday and I just couldn’t get grips of the old ancient tribunal ceremonies, baby is only 5 days old…. Hence I made my point clear … fell out with sister, her husband gave her grief …………………all this because of me.

Can any one tell me what is wrong with me??? Am I lonely or bored with my life? Why don’t I just leave them alone to carry out these rituals,,,, may be cuz I love the baby and am concerned for health and safety.

Please help????

Health and Safety? What do you think they are planning to do with the baby? I presume generations have survived the ritual before.

how come you missed the naming ceremony? werent you discussing it last week, surely you knew when it was because you were talking about your mum not wanting to go.

I dont believe in christenings putting a religion on someones head that has no choice but I would still go to them. Bad luck about bathroom, I had water leaking through my brand new house last week and havent had hot water either but the baby thing I kind of get the feeling is your fault, would have done you no harm going.

I was,nt invited !!!!!! and mum did,nt want to go in the end either. The in-laws planned it so that I could’nt make it in time ( hence I work) they don’t. so they always plan things during the day time when I am at work.

Well the the baby thing there is no danger I guess but I just thing its bit much go back thousands of years and push religion on a baby.

well good luck with telling them where you think they are going wrong, chances are youll see very little of them and baby if you do.

I think your life sounds pretty complicated actually... and you meddle in other peoples lives too - further complicating things..

Are you married for 33 years or is it a boyfriend of 15 years??

Through reading other questions you have posted there seem to be rather a lot of inconsistencies...

Makes me wonder if this is all made up.. about he ancient baby rituals etc etc
