Anyone used Luton airport?

Any reviews on Luton airport please, it will be our first time flying out of there in a few weeks, we are used to Gatwick and London Manston. Thanks

Waterford used to be nice, ummmm, you used to have to walk through a toyshop to get to the tarmac.

Luton is fine, don't worry. They have plenty of shops, clean toilets and a few pubs and restaurants..

I think we all have a soft spot for those airports which were the size of your summerhouse, and the customs desk was an old guy with a little picnic table.

Airports on Caribbean islands were always like that, and the planes were the size of small cars with wings.

dont worry about the airport, its adequate.

Yes red we changed the dates, we were lucky that the owner of the villa was so kind, then we used dial a flight and they found one for us, still not as cheap as we hoped but we really need this time away after the stress we have had with our daughter being so ill. xxx

"CityFlyer Express" had a fleet of planes like that - like biscuit tins with rulers sellotaped to the top - and their home base was Gatwick.
