For those that know about my son's mates parents being killed on sunday in Scotland

My son has just had a call from his mate and his sister has gone into early labour, this would have been their first grandchild. It's so so tragic.

I;m not close to the family the way my son was, he's known them since he was 3, he's finding the words hard but his mate has told him to just talk openly to him and ask him anything as he needs to talk to someone. The brother-in-law is a policeman too and so I think there is a lot of protection and support happening but it's strangers.

Dot - was that the accident where one of the guys killed was on a bike... if so he was the partner of one of my good friends... they were getting married next year :-(

We had friends visit today who were travelling down to Manchester and got caught in the traffic queue.

What a dreadful thing to happen.
