help, I can not find any trousers to fit my 6 yr old

My son is not fat just extremely chunky and I need help, I cant find him any trousers or jeans that fit, even the elasticated ones from tesco etc do not fit as he has large hips too, does anyone know of anywhere that caters for chunk munkeys!

I have the opposite with my son, hes just too skinny and even the adjustable waist bands arent great.

next are quite big, I ordered the wrong ones by accident once and got the plus size, they were big made and my son is not skinny! I did notice this year that they had reduced both the waist and leg length on their school trousers from last years, so might be a hit or a miss! I know that Old Navy dp plus size as well.

My 8 year old is also 'chunky' and his mam buys his school trousers from BHS because she says they are a generous fit

Wouldn't it be easier to buy trousies for an older kid and take the hems up?

Not always answerprancer - the proportions tend to be wrong so that the crotch, pockets etc are all in the wrong place and a lot of trousers now look a bit strange if they are taken up, like combats etc. probably okay to do that with plain school trousers though.
