has head gasket blown again on rover 200??? help please!!
i am unfortunate to own a rover 200 series 1.4 , 6 months ago i had the head gasket replaced (what a surprise). Tonight though the engine started to idle erraticly (lower than normal tickover) and very lumpy, i can hear water slooshing around the dashboard area when im driving, there is a lot of white steam coming out of the exhaust and weirdly the water expansion bottle looked bone dry till i removed the pressure cap and it filled up to normal level again?? no mayo in oilcap or pressure cap, heater is still blowing hot.
Could this possibly be a headgasket problem again so soon after replacement??

(add to that the fact the cylinder liners move sometimes and the head will never seal again if they do!)
The water sloshing about the dashboard is more likely just a leak though.
