Is Notting Hill Carnival a 2 days or 3 days event?

Is Notting Hill Carnival a 2 days or 3 days event? It is always on a Sunday and end of August Bank Holiday Monday. Is there Carnival on Saturday on the same weekend.I read the Carnival is also available on Saturday. Is this true?

As Jno states, you've missed the Notting Hill Carnival for this year. However I can't see why Jno should have agreed with your suggestion that anything happens on the Saturday of the carnival weekend. The official website makes it clear that the carnival is a TWO day event (with the children's day on Sunday and the adults' day on Monday):
