insurance written car

the insurance company deemed the vehicle to expensive to repair.An independent body repairer said he could repair it at a far lower cost & to M.O.T standard.
I have not accepted any money off the insurers. they have not offerd anything.but they did advise a salvage firm to take my ! car away.

ask for a payout and ask to buy the car back as you can fix it for however much.
this is what i'd do and do not allow them to take your car without a courtesy car if you are fully comp.
