Dear All

I have a friend who has moved to Bangkok and I want to go and see him at some stage over the next 6 months.

As it will likely be just a weeks long trip I'll be leaving the missus and kids at home. Therefore I'm not governed by school holidays and can go at any time.

Does anybody know the cheapest time of year to travel?

Thanks

Tourist season starts in November (rainy season ends late October), so get more expensive, particularly mid Dec to mid Jan, and April time. Late Jan early Feb is a good time for the weather. Non-direct flights via the Gulf are often cheaper than direct. Heard varying reports of Jet via India, but they are cheap. If you realy want to fly direct, consider Eva Air
Gosh Trotbot has just beat me to it, I agree with the timing entirely always pays to do your research
