i see that the creator of coronation street ,tony warren has complained about the unreality of the events and items used in soaps.two spring to mind recently
the huge cost of Haleys wedding,the outfits/the hall/the choir/ and not least the hire of the steam train and its staff??
and another- fizz without prior booking flying to Majorca on spec, ,who was paying for that she's struggling as it is
i know its soap land but for heavens sake put a little reality in it

Also when the bride and bridesmaids were on that railway trolley and Fizz was going like the clappers pumping the handle, she is supposed to be pregnant and would never have done that in real life.

What about Sam Mitchell in Ronnie's nightclub all dressed up one day after having a baby - what?! Where was the baby?, Peggy was behind the bar and Phil locked in a LOUNGE?! No toilet, no water, and plenty to wreck! I give up!!!
