ipod speakers

ive just biught a 3rd generation ipod shuffle to take on holiday,it came with the headphones etc but i need speakers so my partner and i can listen to the music in our hotel room/on beach etc anyone got any idea which speakers i could get? many thanks

Is the 3rd Generation the one with no buttons on the unit and the volume controls on the headphones? If so, make sure any speakers you buy have their own volume adjustment otherwise the iPod will playback only at a fixed/non adjustable volume (I think).

yep there is only the controls on the headphones,cant figure out if i should get speakers or docking station to play it through would probably only use it in the room and ive got a separate charger for it.dont want anything too expensive cos i doubt if i'll use it much at home
