Why do the papers/teletext etc. feel the need to tell us when people win the jackpot on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? Is there really anyone who doesn't think this spoils the whole show?

The papers are more interested in getting a story than anything else
The main reason for "spilling the beans" on this particular show is to guarantee a big TV audience on the night of transmission. More ratings mean more money.
