Are the different colours of the biscuits also different flavours? I don't think they are but dad's convinced they taste different.

You made me feel sad now mollykins. These were my father's favourite biscuit, but he died earlier this year. What is it about dad's and party rings?
Question Author
He's convinced they are different flavours ie. the mainly yellow ones are lemon and the mainly pink ones are strawberry, but I jsutt hink he's mad.
to me they just taste, well, sweet.... There isnt really enough coating to get involved with taste buds.
Question Author
Plus he dips them in tea, so it's all dissolved so I don't know how he can tell the difference.
Bless
does dad have false teeth ? and only able to eat soggy things
Question Author
He has one false tooth, but he does like msot of his food soft. yet he won't eat; rice, pasta, yoghurt or custard.
I think they taste a bit different, but I wouldn't go as far as to say the pink ones are strawberry, yellow ones lemon etc.
Question Author
Do you think it's jsut because the diferent colour icings taste slightly different because of the chemicals used to make them, rather than trying to be strawberrry/ lemon etc ?
Mmmm love Party Rings and they are definitely different flavours- purple ones are the best, although don't think they taste lemony/strawberry-y etc!
Yes Molly I think you're probably right - like different food colourings have slightly different tastes, without being actual flavours.
