I keep getting a box pop up from Desktop Security 2010 which tells me my computer has been infected by a proxy-relay trojan server with new and danger spambots. It says my computer has been used to send a huge amount of junk email messages and my IP marked in the Police log file as mass-mailing spam assist. Of course it then suggests I update to Desktop Security 2010 to eliminate the spam attempts. I have run the Malwarebytes Anti-Malware scan but it still keeps popping up.

How can I get rid of this please. Help would be much appreciated.

Thanks a lot Chris. I will try that.

Tried it Chris but no joy. Now won't let me connect to broadband so will have to get someone who knows what they are doing to look at it. Will have to carry on using hubby's for now. Thanks for trying to help anyway.
Buenchico`s suggestion should have worked, did you scroll down to "Automated Removal Instructions for Internet Security 2010 using Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware:" and follow the instructions carefully?

I used the same method yesterday to remove it from my next door neighbour`s laptop.

Thanks Trish. Didn't have much patience last night when it started so didn't read all the instructions on the link Chris had given me. All now sorted, thank goodness. Thanks again Chris too.
