i've been told that i have hyperostosis of the skull, particularly the forehead area...but i also have hypermobility

i have the most unbelievable grinding an crunching an clicking in all my bones - could the hyperostosis be elsewhere in my body an causing this?

i know a few others with hypermobilty an their crunching is nowhere near as much as mine

coudl there be a link? or could i just be unlucky an have both things coincidentally

thanks

I am rather confused:

You have hyperostosis of the skull AND hypermobilty syndrome?

I am not an expert in bone disorders, but I cannot connect the two conditions.

I think that what you are asking is could the "clicking" in the other bones, be due to your Hyperostosis. Very unlikely.

I feel that I have misunderstood your question.
Haven't heard of the hyperostosis tbh.. but i myself and now my 4yr old son both have Hypermobility.. My joints are forever crunching.. grinding and clicking etc.. Drives my partner mad lol

cheers guys

no sqad you have it right... i have both of these, i just wondered if the hyperostosis coudl have caused exostosis in some joints as well as the skull etc...but the clicking etc is being attributed to the hypermobilty more

cheers

Unlikely joko.........only X-Rays would show if your hyperostosis had affected other parts of your skeletal system.
