To wrap the mother cat in a curtain and chuck it in a bin with the new kittens, while they think she was still giving birth.... words fail me. I only hope that someone recognises the mother cat and notices it's missing from its usual home, and reports the owners. I feel so sad for the mother cat who's only a youngster herself, she must have been panic-stricken for her babies. I can't say enough about the work you do - heart-wrenching.
Mummy cat looks lovely and I hope that she finds herself a loving home. The kittens are so cute and they should have no problem 'selling themselves' to new Slaves.
There seems to be a sub-human species out there that have no morals, ethics, conscience or empathy towards not only their fellow human beings but to the rest of the animal kingdom too.
I am sure that my two moronic felines would agree - were they not currently trying to kill each other. ;-)

Of course - the wheelie bin will take all the blame.
Being flippant in an otherwise serious thread, I have often felt like strangling my two or locking them in a cupboard so that I could get some peace. But they are small animals and to actually hurt or injure them on purpose really is a despicable act.
It has gone quiet here - the war is over for today.

What get's me about these people is that there are places for unwanted animals, there is just no excuse for these terrible crimes. They can use the free adds rather than put these poor animals in these situations.God knows what the world is coming to today, you read about it all the time,it makes my blood boil.Thank goodness there are places and people like you Kat.God Bless and the same to the poor animals.
What kind of world are we living in. Although I'm a dog person by nature, I can't abide cruelty to any animal. My beloved dog died two years ago now and not a day goes by when I don't miss her dreadfully. She was loved and cared for every day of her life. When I read about the way some people treat animals it's shameful. If you can't cope with or can't afford to keep an animal, why not just contact a shelter? What kind of person would simply dispose of living creatures in this way? I see it on our local Freecycle sites all the time. People passing animals around like pass the parcel. Why they allow it goodness knows. Of course whoever was responsible will never get caught. But if you believe in Karma as I do, maybe one day they will get their just reward.... hopefully get run over by a garbage truck!!!
