Wow, I never knew until today that you could play psst in scrabble.

How many more words do you lot know of that you can play in scrabble, that don't have vowels?

From the two letter list there is; by, ch, fy, hm, ky, mm, my, ny, sh, st.

well, for is allowed, funks is allowed and sake is allowed, but I don't think there's a way of playing it all at once.

You shouldn't be drinking at your age!
RHYTHM/Rhythms is probably the longest word of the commonly used words. A longer one is symphysy but I don't use it very often! There are loads of 3 and 4 letter words. You can make a few 6 letter words if plurals are allowed (e.g.TRYSTS)
Question Author
Thanks factor, I always forget about rhythm.
The misconception here is that 'y' is not a vowel. It is in fact a semi-vowel as it can function as a consonant (as in 'yes') or a vowel (as in 'rhythm'). W has the same property, although its function as a vowel is found only in Welsh and not English.

So how amny words are there with vowels or a Y, out of the two letters words, there is only; ch, hm, mm, sh and st.
