travel allowance money

I recently met a woman online and she says she is love with me and wants to move here from Nigeria. She bought a plane ticket, but she wanted 200.00 for the balance of the ticket. Her Uncle gave her the rest,so she says. Then she needed a medical exam which was 650.00,but she was short on that also. She needed 160.00. Now after she buys the ticket and has her medical exam they tell her she needs 6,000.00 for Board Travel Allowance. She first said her boss and uncle could raise 2,000.00. Now she wants 5,000.00. Normally I would not even think twice about this being a scam, but she im's every single night and we talk for hours. If this is a scam, it is very elaborate and very tenacious. This has been going on for a month and a half. I even told her I thought she was a scammer, but she was not detered. This one is a puzzler. I sent her a webcam to prove she is who she says she is. It has not arrived yet. But is there such a thing as a Board Travel Allowance in Nigeria? She does not talk like any scammer I have ever run across. We fight all the time and I hang up on her when she questions me on my honesty or money too much. I tell her She has to prove to me who she is or there will be no money, but she stills im's me and says she will show herself on the webcam when it arrives.

My husband is Ghanian and he tells me of these types of scams all the time. When he goes to the internet cafe they are all at it mostly men posing as women!! Even if you call them personally you are probably talking to their sister, girlfriend etc. Some guy approached my husband asking if he could use his bank account to transfer some money from a guy in the UK, he said he would give my husband a big cut of the money. This guy was posing as a woman on the internet and this poor UK man was gullible enough to send a massive amount of money. Talking a few thousand) My husband declined the offer and reported him to the police, The guy found someone elses bank account to use instead but later he was arrested. Luckily the guy from the UK got his money back.
sounds like a scam. be carefull, when you give them your address they might sent you small things like a painting of you that they made or a picture. they can do this when the notice you start to find it fishy. so you get the idea that they are real. travel allowance you get from your boss for the miles you make from work to home. the only thing they can ask if that person has enough money to support himself. they cant ask them to show money from someone else , so they know that the person wouldnt be stranded on the airport. especially in holiday trips.
