I Tunes - Free Apps

Hi, my daughter has downloaded the new itunes update as they keep requesting her to download it, Once we downloaded we tried to update her free apps, when you press the free download for all apps it asks for password and then says buy? They are Free apps! and it sends you straight to another screen for payment, can anyone help with this, I have been to all help section on itunes but have found nothing to help with this.

Have you tried going into your account in iTunes?
Go to the Store Menu, View My Account, Enter your iTunes user name and password, Click on Edit Payment Information button. Then you can choose None as a payment method.

THe reason Apple do it is to make sure someone such as your kids don't go downloading Apps, songs etc ,that you pay for, without you knowing about it.
