Hi, my vectra abs light came on about 2 weeks ago and since then it has been on and off, and also when driving along there is a noise sometimes, and sometimes when i brake you can feel a vibration on the pedal any ideas thanks.

I agree - handbook always says "dealer" when there's an ABS fault. This would also fail an MOT.

When was the last time you changed/checked your brake pads ?
It's not a difficult job.

I'd say there is a wheel sensor fault, but you could also have badly worn pads or cracked front disc. Clean the sensors up, check fronts and try again.
ABS will only fail on MOT if the check-light stays on (on the dash) after engine started.

All the others may be right but try this - just with your ignition turned on, lock the car with your key fob then unlock again. Resets something in the management system. Worked on mine. Goodluck. !Brakes must be taken seriously!
