sore ear

A couple of days ago, my ear was tender to touch, but only hurt when you touched it, now it's ok to touch but it's sore all of the time and several times a day suddenly flares up really badly for a few seconds.

What's the best thing to do?

Also it really hurts to blow my nose or sneeze.

Its a boil. It should go without treatment, but if the pain gets worse you MAY need antibiotics.
